Lola Dutronic is a Canadian electronica duo, consisting of remixer/producer Richard Citroen and vocalist Frankie Hart. The band adapts songs from the French and British sixties (from artists such as Serge Gainsbourg, Françoise Hardy, Brigitte Bardot or John Barry) with modern electronic arrangements. They have issued three albums so far.
* The World of Lola Dutronic (2004)
* Lola Dutronic Album 2 – The Love Parade (2007)
* Lola Dutronic In Berlin (2008)
Currently I’m listening to one of Lola Dutronic’s tracks (from the album The Love Parade): “Beautiful World”. The song is about a girl who falls in love and has that first kiss that makes her fly and feel that it’s a beautiful world. This song is highly recommended alongside “Chanson d’Edie (Song For Edie)”.
“Chanson d’Edie” expresses one’s hope to Edie so that Edie can find what Edie’s looking for in life. It appeals people who are still searching their selves in lives, needless to say, just like me.
Oh Edie, I hope you find what you’re looking for
